Lily’s Kitchen presents the free event, 'House of Treats', where dogs stealing socks from the laundry, leaping into a pile of leaves, and chilling on the sofa while snacking on their favourite treats is not only allowed, but applauded.
We are a nation of dog lovers and we believe our furry friends are more than just pets, they’re an intrinsic part of our families. We love to treat them, spoil them and see their tails wagging with excitement. And occasionally they do cheeky little things – like chew our favourite shoe, steal all the bed covers and dig holes in the lawn – things they aren’t allowed to do, but we know they love.
Now, thanks to Lily’s Kitchen, the maker of proper food for pets, pups can step inside the House of Treats (30 Elizabeth St, Belgravia, London, SW1W 9RB, 26th October to 27th October), where stealing socks from the laundry, leaping into a pile of leaves, and chilling on the sofa while snacking on their favourite treats is not only allowed, but applauded.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes will take centre stage as they journey through dog-themed spaces designed to bring them (and their owners) joy and happiness, including:
Petflix & Chill – The ultimate doggy den where four-legged friends can relax on the sofa, watch canine-friendly films and chomp away on their favourite telly treats.
- Put a sock in it – A specially-created laundry room featuring socks, socks and more socks! Socks in the washing machine, socks in the laundry basket and strings of socks on washing lines. We dare your woofer to pinch a few!
- Tummy Time – This mini dog spa offers proper pampering for pets and features doggy bath robes and slippers, a puppy-massage bed, and an expert dog masseuse. Take your pick of paw, tummy, back or hot bone massage.
- Bubble Bath – Bath time is fun time, and this bubble and ball-filled bathtub will make your dogs want to dive right in. Shower caps and squeaky rubber ducks included.
- Bark in the Park – Dogs can enjoy an autumn wonderland equipped with a wheelbarrow full of Proper Treats! Pups are welcome to jump, dig and roll in a pile of leaves to their heart’s content.
Henrietta Morrison, founder of Lily’s Kitchen comments: “Lily’s Kitchen believes pets are family and they bring so much love to our home, which is why we’ve created a house that’s specially designed to treat them. House of Treats leaves dogs to their own devices and allows them to enjoy their own little moments of joy.”
