Get advice from pet experts on how to best care for your dog from a variety of fascinating talks. Join Supervet Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and spend the day with your favourite animals including over 70 dog breeds!
Animal Action Displays See an amazing team of dogs who have featured in blockbuster films and TV shows such as Fantastic Beasts, Kingsman, Poldark and Vanity Fair, showing off their tricks and acting abilities. Enjoy a superb high-action display from the Conquest K9 Dog Display team, featuring agility, criminal and control work.
Animal Rescue Barn
The National Pet Show is introducing the Animal Rescue Barn, hosted by TV Presenter Michaela Strachan. Local charities, Manchester and Cheshire Dogs’ Home, Greyhound Trust and French Bulldog Saviours will be bringing adorable dogs looking for their forever home. Stop by and learn all about their stories and see if you’d be suitable to rehome one of them (or even two!).
Book Signings
Supervet Professor Noel Fitzpatrick will be doing signings of his new book Listening to the Animals: Becoming the Supervet. Make sure you come down to meet the man himself and grab your copy of his spell-binding book! You can also meet Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday signing copies of the 2019 edition of the book, which launched last month. Plus Michaela Strachan will be signing copies of her book Really Wild Adventures. You won’t want to miss out!
Dogs with Jobs
Meet the dogs who work for a living in the Dogs with Jobs feature. Learn about these wonderful pups and the important work they do, from search and rescue dogs, to therapy and service dogs.
