A private animal hospital is launching a series of videos to guide pet owners through the veterinary referral process.
Hertfordshire-based Davies Veterinary Specialists (DVS) will publish one video a week for the next 13 weeks on its own YouTube channel. The first video goes live today and gives an overview of Davies Veterinary Specialists.
Over the following 12 weeks the series will cover the following topics: anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, nursing and animal care, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, physiotherapy and soft tissue surgery. The series of videos have been made to help pet owners understand the referral process and provide an objective insight to the specialist treatment your pet may need.
Clive Elwood, Managing Director of DVS explained: "The veterinary referral process can be daunting, especially when it comes to having to make important decisions when a precious pet is injured or unwell. The videos aim to help replace anxieties with reassurance by showing owners what to expect at a referral centre, the capabilities of modern science and equipment and the outstanding expertise, compassion and care provided by staff."
