The Hope & Anchor

The Hope and Anchor is a traditional wet-lead pub that dates from the 1600's. Very much a proper 'boozer', it's a welcoming watering hole for people and pooches alike!

With two pub dogs of our own, we understand how important it is to know your four-legged friend is as welcome as you are! There are complementary dog treats on the bar and poo bags available for the occasional 'accident' and there is no extra charge for your dog when you stay in one of our letting rooms, just mention where you found us when booking. Even if you're not staying, if you mention your membership, you get 10% off your first round!
