Kekaroka Lodge is a peaceful cabin for two offering couples a romantic retreat in the heart of the North Pennines National Landscape. This charming and cosy lodge has a warm and cosy interior and a spacious outside deck where you can sit and take in the incredible views from the comfort of your own private hot tub.

As you arrive you’ll be in awe of the amazing vista that stretches out as far as the eye can see. Drop your bags off, pour yourself a coffee and sit on the private balcony gazing out over the Scottish hills and Lake District mountains. The private deck features a comfy alfresco sofa for lazy summer afternoons and also has a quaint outdoor dining table for two, should you wish to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the fresh country air.

Stepping inside, the lodge has a lovely open plan living area. Here you’ll find a big comfy sofa facing out the sliding glass doors, allowing you to enjoy the view from the warmth of inside the lodge. The living area also has a fantastic wood-burner to keep you cosy no matter the weather outside and a Smart TV for movie nights and box-set marathons.

The modern kitchen is nicely equipped for preparing meals and also has a dishwasher so no one’s lumbered with the washing up. And when dinner’s ready you can enjoy it on the outdoor dining table or on the dining table inside.

The marvellous bedroom guarantees a peaceful night’s sleep with its fabulous king size bed and an indulgent free-standing bathtub where you can enjoy an indulgent soak after a day exploring the area. You also have a modern bathroom in the lodge with a shower.

Kekaroka Lodge offers a serene getaway in the Cumbrian countryside. Surrounded by the stunning North Pennines National Landscape, this location is ideal for exploring scenic spots like Talkin Tarn and Castle Carrock reservoir. Nearby, the market town of Brampton and historic Carlisle offer shops, dining and historical sites such as Hadrian’s Wall and Lanercost Priory.

Enjoy local food at The Duke of Cumberland, a village pub within walking distance, or tapas in Carlisle. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, explore nearby fells, quiet roads for cycling and scenic walks with your dog. The Lake District is also only an hour away.
