Eastacott Barton

Sitting at the head of its own private valley, Eastacott Barton’s two barn conversions (Stable and Harebell) offer spacious self catering holiday accommodation, privacy and a real opportunity to relax. Surrounded by rich Devon farmland full of sheep and cattle and overlooking the Taw valley, there are 27 acres of meadow and woodland walks, and numerous lakes, including a swimming lake and two fishing lakes which are solely for the use of guests.

The two dog-friendly barns, each sleep six people, which can be hired separately or for one large group of 12. Both properties have direct access to a swimming lake (for adults and dogs!).  We have 27 acres with woodland walks on site and many other walks directly from the door to local dog friendly pubs.  

Within easy reach of the coast, and both Exmoor and Dartmoor it’s the perfect base to explore the delights of North Devon. With fantastic surfing beaches, walks along coastal paths or across the moors, fishing in the lake or the local salmon rivers, cycling on the Tarka Trail, excellent golf courses, and great local pubs all close at hand, there are plenty of activities for everyone.
