The Sun Inn

The award-winning Sun Inn is located in the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria. The boutique inn combines the character and charm of a 17th-century inn and AA two rosette restaurant, with the luxury of contemporary hotel accommodation.

The Sun Inn prides itself on being incredibly dog-friendly. It was highly commended as ‘dog-friendly business of the year’ at Visit England’s 2016 Awards for Excellence.

All four-legged guests staying at the Sun Inn receive a complimentary ‘pooch pack’ on arrival. They are also welcome in the bar and in the special dog-friendly dining area.

Accommodation offerings include eleven luxurious hotel bedrooms – with options for standard, superior and deluxe (a selection of these rooms are dog-friendly).
