Dittiscombe Hills Estate & Cottages

Bring your dog for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday at dog-friendly Dittiscombe. We have five pretty cottages which nestle within a peaceful valley in the heart of the beautiful South Hams in South Devon. We are conveniently located near the dog-friendly beaches of Start Bay, the national nature reserve of Slapton Ley which is great for bird and wildlife watching, and historic Slapton village with its two ‘dogs welcome’ pubs.

From Dittiscombe you can also visit the popular sailing towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth, the dog-friendly steam railway at Buckfastleigh, National Trust properties with dog-friendly gardens at Greenway and Colyton Fishacre, and paddle the waterways with Singing Paddles who welcome well behaved dogs in their canoes, accompanied by their owners of course!

Our cottages are surrounding by beautiful rolling hills and guests and their dogs have easy access from their cottage door to the Dittiscombe conservation valley which is made up of woodland, meadows and a nature trail. There is even a flat area for ball games! Each cottage has a lovely, private garden and views of the valley.
 
Weekly prices start at £385 for a couples’ cottage or £395 for a 2 bedroom family cottage. Short breaks are available outside school holidays.
 
Each cottage offers free wifi, woodburners, bbqs, dog treats on arrival, maps and guides, and four cottages have enclosed gardens.
