Darwin Forest Luxury Lodge Holidays

Darwin Forest Lodges are situated between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Peak District and combine luxury self-catering holiday accommodation with fantastic onsite facilities. The woodland setting creates a peaceful location from which to fully relax and get closer to nature but with the benefit of an array of local attractions within easy reach.  Many of the lodges include an indulgent outdoor hot tub and dogs are welcome in the pet friendly lodges. Lodges sleep from 2-8 people but larger families and groups are welcome to book multiple lodges.

Surrounded by Nature

The luxury lodges at Darwin Forest are nestled within a 47 acre woodland paradise and are sympathetically interwoven into the forest.  The Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District National Park boast many stunning walks with spectacular views – perfect for a walking holiday with your dog.  

Dog Friendly

Up to two dogs are accepted in our pet friendly lodges and we have a range of lodge types to suit varying needs and budgets. All pet friendly lodges have a gated or enclosed outdoor decking area. The Coppice Spa and Spinney Spa lodges are designed with muddy paws and boots in mind and include outdoor washing facilities and a utility room.  The Coppice Spa lodges also include a unique doggy shower! 

Fantastic Facilities

The fantastic onsite facilities include a swimming pool with spa area and gym, Foresters bar & restaurant and Little Monkeys indoor play centre. The Activity Den is perfect for older children with pool tables and a games room to keep them entertained.

For all the family to enjoy, they have a tennis court, mini golf and an abundance of footpaths and cycling trails to explore. They also offer a range of instructor led activities that are suitable for both children and adults.
